Mindset, habits, routines...

Mindset

You are capable of doing whatever you set your mind to. Use your goals as a focal point. Read them daily. Remind yourself of your why.

Routines and Habits

Create routines and habits to simplify the steps you need to take to reach your goals. Routines and habits are nonnegotiable. You don’t even think about brushing your teeth or getting dressed, right? You just do it because it’s part of your routine.

Habit

What is one habit you can create that will help you reach your goals? Maybe you get into the habit of using a food scale to manage portion sizes. Maybe you get into the habit of using a foam roller every night before bed to keep your body healthy. Having a tough time starting new habits? Try habit stacking. Take an existing habit and stack the new habit alongside. For example: You may already have a habit of brushing your teeth and your goal is to drink more water. Stack the new habit of drinking one glass of water each time you brush your teeth. That adds two more glasses of water to your day and helps you to be well on your way to reaching your goal! One small habit has the power to make a large impact!

Routine

What is one routine you can create that will help you reach your goals? Maybe you wake up a little earlier so you can squeeze in a daily workout or yoga sesh. Maybe you create a nightly relaxation routine to help you destress and have some me time. Perhaps you sit down every Sunday and plan your meals and grocery list for the week to keep your nutrition game on point. To stay on track with your new routine, explore the deeper meaning of the new routine by leaning into your why and your goals. Consider writing this down and keeping it in sight. Start by committing to one new routine at a time. Give yorusel time to settle into the routine and don't worry about being perfect. Remember, progress over perfection!

You Got This

You have the power and ability to reach your goals. But, they don’t just happen. They take intention, diligence, and commitment. You have to do the work. Mindset, habits, and routines are the building blocks to bring you toward reaching (and smashing!) your goals. You got this 👊🏼
