So, what does all that mean for you? Well, I can help you transform your life : )
How I Help My Clients
What is getting in the way of taking the next step towards your goals? Sometimes the barrier is a physical limitation, like an injury or pain. Other times it is much deeper than that, for example how we grew up or past trauma in our lives. Or maybe you are so stressed out or overloaded by life that the fog is too thick and you can’t even see your next step. Sometimes it’s difficult to do it alone. Sometimes we need a plan, structure, accountability, and a guide…and that’s ok! It’s ok to accept help. I get it. I've been there. It doesn’t mean you are weak or failing. We are stronger together than we are alone!
I will empower you with the skills and knowledge as well as guide you along those next steps toward reaching your goals. I will help you remove any barriers that you are facing as well as dig deeper and discover your why. I will stand by your side, hold you accountable, and help you succeed.
1) Coaching: Wellness, Fitness, and Triathlon Coaching
I coach my clients to redesign their life in order to meet their personal or wellness goals. Individuals and athletes come to me with a variety of life, health, fitness, weight loss, or endurance goals such as wanting to find balance in their lives, prioritize themselves, achieve a healthy nutrition lifestyle, complete a pull-up, build muscle, lose weight, run farther, or race a triathlon. My extensive education, knowledge of the human body, and professional skills enable me to help my clients reach their goals while minimizing their risk for injury.
2) Deep Stress Relief
I help my clients relieve stress by providing guided relaxation and balancing energy via Reiki and yoga. In addition, I provide my clients with strategies they are able to apply in their daily lives to manage their stress and keep on track towards reaching their goals and living well.
3) Physical Rehabilitation
Throughout my occupational therapy career providing physical rehabilitation, I have worked with patients of all ages as well as with a wide variety of diagnoses ranging from shoulder or hand surgery to stroke to cancer. My patients come to me with impairments that limit them from participating in activities that are meaningful in their lives. I work with them to identify and remedy those impairments as well as remove any barriers to performance that exist. I have treated patients with all types of autoimmune diseases, cancer and treatment-related side effects, chronic pain, shoulder/elbow/hand bone and joint problems, sprains/strains, tendon injuries and surgeries, nerve injuries and surgeries, fractures, arthritis, stroke, to traumatic brain injury and more. In addition, I provide workplace ergonomic assessments as well as home accessibility assessments to enhance health and performance.
Personal Life
My most important life occupation is being a mother to our beautiful blended family of 5 children and 3 dogs as well as striving to be the best partner possible to the love of my life, my husband Andy. Together, we enjoy spending time with our families, skiing, traveling, swimming, biking, running, hiking, riding horses, and enjoying Lake Beulah. Andy and I are also active members of the triathlon team, Team Zoot. Check out our family pics below!
